Council Member Angela Gupta

Appointed 2022 through 2025

Angela and her husband, Jim Leonard, moved to Lake Quivira 25 years ago and feel blessed to have raised their two daughters here.  Angela grew up in Shawnee and remembers hanging out with friends at the Lake over summers in high school, and thinking how amazing it would be to live here some day.  After attending college at KU, followed by law school at the University of Pennsylvania, Angela returned to Kansas City, where she has practiced law in various capacities over the last 30 years.  Currently, Angela works exclusively in the neutral role as a mediator, arbitrator, and independent investigator with Associates in Dispute Resolution, LLC.  Angela believes her legal background and problem-solving skills will be an asset to the Council.  Angela is committed to listening to and understanding all viewpoints and making well-reasoned decisions that balance the wise management of our natural and fiscal resources with the continued growth and progress of our community.  Angela is honored to serve and welcomes your input.

Council President Dan McCauley
Elected 2023 - 2027

Dan and his wife, Amy, moved to Lake Quivira in 2019 and have fallen in love with the community. After college at Bucknell University and graduating from University of Bridgeport School of Law (now Quinnipiac Univ. School of Law) Dan soon gravitated into business development and sales roles. Since 2010, he has worked as a manufacturer’s representative for electrical supplies and solutions at Convergence in North Kansas City. Dan is honored to serve the City and believes his skills and experience in running complex projects as well as collaboration and advocating on behalf of others will be an asset as a Council member.

Council Member Mike Pasley
Elected 2023 - 2027

My wife, Linda, and I have called Lake Quivira home since 2018.  We have a Son and Daughter who live and work in KC and get to enjoy the Lake occasionally as well.  We get to share the Lake with two of Linda’s sisters and their families. We enjoy walking the lake, boating, social events, playing tennis and hopefully begin to golf.  I serve on the ARB committee. I am hopeful that my background in business ownership will translate as an asset to the City Council.  I have come to love and I am committed to supporting Lake Quivira’s core values of environmental stewardship, preservation of our unique character and lifestyle, safety, security, and quality amenities.
